Oregon's finest Pointing Labrador Kennels.
Sams Creek Kennels
is a family owned facility. We are "NOT" a puppy mill ! Sams
Creek Kennels not only strives to breed the best pointing labs but
to also train them to their full potential. Pointing Labs is having
the best of both worlds. We know this because our dogs are hunted
hard on wild birds.
If you want a bird dog, they need birds. We use allot birds in our
training program. Teaching a Labrador what you expect and then
helping them achieve those expectations is what we are about. Having a kennel
makes it possible to be able to control what we want in a breeding
program. We desire to breed only if we are
going to improve the genetics of a pedigree. We believe that Labradors
can "point" naturally. But we also acknowledge that most Labradors do
not. There are only a select few bloodlines that have these genetics.
We have tried to select both types of genetics. Pointing Labradors as
well as a traditional retriever. We want dogs that can turn it on in
the field but lay on the rug when it is time to quit.
